Big Day of Serving
We are going to the Bronx on April 20th to participate in the Big Day of Serving. Hundreds of teens will gather together to clean up city blocks, alleyways and parks; help with landscaping and planting community gardens; remove graffiti; and paint and make minor home repairs. All youth in g12 are invited to join us, along with parents/chaperones and friends. Drivers will be needed. There is a cost of $34 per person (if registered before 3/21 - $40 thereafter). Mission Trip – Hurricane Sandy Relief
This summer the youth will be participating in a mission trip to the Bronx and Staten Island to help people recover from hurricane Sandy. The trip will include a day or two of inner city ministry in the Bronx and then 3-4 days of work on Staten Island to help people rebuild after hurricane Sandy. All teens are welcome to join us. The cost is only $250 for the week. The trip will be held July 20-27. Adults are welcome to join us as chaperones/participants.
